The first written genre to be analyzed and produced in our grade 7 Language classes as part of the Stance Teen Webzine was the feature article. As a continuation to the research that had been conducted previously, based on the theme of the Stance Cultural Fair, Roots and Expressions, the students wrote feature articles which, besides presenting their earlier findings, made connections with the aforementioned theme. Those texts, moreover, were meant not only to inform, but also to incite further reflection and generate new ideas. This project is the result of the integration of the following subjects: Language, Língua Portuguesa, Ciências, Matemática and Math.
